RESCUED RAUL

when we met him on the streets,he looked withdrawn and washed out, maybe it was the fatalism of it all or the curse of karma people must surely argue but...we shared with him about JESUS and fed him then took him to lagankhel market and clothed him...he whispered in our sisters ear... i want to leave the streets...GOD has provided us with money even to send him to school
praise the LORD

three tournaments

we have annually three football tournaments with street children:
1...sathee cup
this cup is about friendships.between us and and with jesus...we want them to grow in their relationships with GOD AND MAN
2...dolphin cup
like dolphins who rescue ships from icebergs. We praech that Jesus is like a dolphin. He will rescue us from the icebergs of illicit sex, violence and drugs etc.,
3...story cup
here we share the 38 parables of Jesus and how he can transform all of their life.Physical, emotional, mental, social and offcourse spiritual life too.

15 rescues

with much joy and with much grace from the LORD... We were able these past two years to rescue and restore to childrens homes 15 street kids.pray for us as we continue to visit them on the streets play football with them and eat our lunches with them.we dream of 15 more this year that we can place in families.

threesome winsome

street kids normally hunt in packs. They are found in their gangs together and never stray from their group or udda...their kabbads or street huts are very territorial and they can fight to kill if another unwelcome group enters.HOWEVER they love people who will be their friends and are ready for any sacrifices for their street buddies. After our experiences in kolkata our 8 years in kathmandu with street kids has taught us never to take their friendships for granted but always keep the relationships fresh on a weekly basis.

SUMAN THE PHILOSOPHER

we rescued suman from the streets with such a deep sense of love for him...that...we felt at times to legally adopt him as our son...nowadays he is such a blessing...he read the book given to him and did it all on his own without a tutor...we are now praying for finances to send him to school...please pray with us.

street boys and street girls?

Street boys..we see them and spend time with them daily but why do the street girls keep disappearing . when they go "missing"they land up in so called night "tea shops"where they are succered and seduced into "servicing" taxi drivers and truck operators with more than just a cup of tea...but is anybody listening...maybe not...because its not as "sensational" and "news worthy" as trafficing girls into brothels accross borders..maybe may be not...who knows?...but is anybody listening?

RAVI AND RAJ

RAVI
we found ravi scavenging on the streets and we were moved because he seemed only 4 plus years old.His story is that his parents go to work and sometimes dont return home...He is always on the streets daily looking for food...when we asked him to come back with us he refused as he believes he will have his parents back "permanently"
RAJ
he ran away because his step father used to beat him and his mom was "silent"he wants to one day become a music star.We shared with both these boys that when they are scared or in trouble they can call out to JESUS AND HE WILL NEVER FAIL AND NEVER LEAVE THEM OR HURT THEM...JESUS NEVER FAILS.
